I’m Margaret—a thinker, an advocate, and someone who refuses to accept silence in the face of injustice. My journey began when I pursued Addiction Counseling and Prevention alongside Criminal Justice. In my first semester, I took sociology, psychology, and criminal justice studies, only to uncover a truth: what I had suspected about inequality, oppression, and systemic failure wasn’t a personal theory, it was documented, researched, and taught in introductory courses.

That’s when the anger set in.

I realized that anyone with a college education knows these truths. Sociologists, psychologists, and legal scholars have spent decades studying, researching, and publishing books that prove the realities of poverty, addiction, and systemic barriers. Yet, despite this overwhelming body of evidence, nothing has truly changed. And the saddest part? The very people most affected—the ones living through generational poverty, the ones who have firsthand experience with these injustices—are often the ones denied higher education. The people who would fight hardest for change never get the chance.

Low-income families are told their struggles are their own fault, that they should have worked harder, made better choices, or tried more. But I now know the truth: the odds were stacked against us from the start. And yet, the everyday people in America, the ones who do not have the money to pay know knowledge, are led to believe their hardships are personal failures, rather than a result of deeply entrenched inequalities.

That’s what fuels my advocacy.

I’m here to be a voice for the voiceless, to tell people that they are not conspiracy theorists, they are not overthinkers, and they are not imagining the realities of their struggles. If you have ever felt like the system was designed to keep you down, you are right. If you have ever been dismissed for questioning the fairness of society, you are not a deviant—you are a critical thinker who sees the truth.

And I refuse to let those truths be buried under silence.

Join me as I bring these conversations into the light. As I push back against the systems that profit from ignorance. As I stand for education, awareness, and the fight to give power back to the people who have lived through these injustices firsthand. Because justice is not just a theory, it’s a demand.

I stand firm in my faith, knowing that God has placed a mission in my heart to be a voice for those who have been silenced, to bring light to the injustices that have been buried, and to remind people that their struggles are not failures, but battles in a system designed to hold them back. Proverbs 31 speaks of a woman who is clothed with strength and dignity, who speaks wisdom, and who does not fear the future. That is the calling I embrace, using my voice to uplift, educate, and empower those who feel unseen.
